why join us
Advance God’s kingdom in one of the largest countries in Africa!
The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo) is a vast and resource-rich country located in central Africa. It is the second-largest country on the continent, covering over 2.3 million square kilometers. The country is home to a diverse population and boasts an array of natural resources, including minerals like cobalt, and diamonds. However, DR Congo has faced significant challenges, including political instability, armed conflicts, and humanitarian crises. Despite this, the Congolese people are known for their resilience, strength, and deep sense of community. The spirit of survival and optimism in the face of adversity is a hallmark of their identity.
Help us reach the lost and bring the hope of Jesus to this nation!
Statement on Applications from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
At this time, we are unable to accept applications from individuals in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) due to ongoing conflicts and instability in the region. We deeply value our connections with those in the DRC and remain committed to monitoring the situation.
As people of faith, we stand in prayer for those affected by the violence, including the 70 Christians who were tragically beheaded. We encourage you to join us in praying for peace, protection, and strength for all those impacted. You can read more about this heartbreaking situation here: Open Doors Article – Persecution in the DRC
We are grateful to report that all members of Pais in the DRC are safe as of this update and have left the city of Goma. For updates on the broader situation, please visit: https://www.crisisgroup.org/africa/central-africa/democratic-republic-congo.
We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to stay connected with us for future opportunities.
