Congratulations

The Human Square knows how things fit.
You bring a sense of right and wrong, and you know how things should be. In certain parts of the world you may at times be called ‘a square’, because they unfairly think you don’t like change. This is untrue; in actual fact you will happily go along with new ideas, but you first need to be shown that the idea is correct, logical and sensible. You understand the importance of what is right and proper, and bring that sense of justice to any team you are a part of. You tend to be rigid in your beliefs. This is not because your thinking is boxed in, but because you know that being reliable produces the best foundation to build upon.

What You Can Bring To The Movement
You like to finish what you start, and you are committed to following through. Squares therefore help the work of Pais be consistent and provide a faithful service to those we reach. You are keen to fulfill deadlines, and you understand the need for order. This is very helpful because we want Pais teams to exemplify what they teach. You pay attention to details, and every team needs someone like you!

How a Pais Apprenticeship will help you do this
Squares have a focus on values and preparation. Being a Square does not automatically make you competent, but it means you have the attitude that wants to develop your skills properly. You like to support, serve and organize. Sometimes you do this to such a degree that you carry other people without realizing it!
A Pais apprenticeship will help you grow in expertise because our methods offer a long tradition of useful practice. Your skills and time will be used efficiently. Time and time again you will get an opportunity to get better and better at what you do. Pais is fresh and exciting but also has been passing down its techniques and methods for many years, each time getting a little better and a little stronger.
If you want unique and Biblical practices, then the apprenticeship will provide this. Working with Pais will help you develop skills in areas that no few, if any, other opportunities can give you. The apprenticeship will strengthen your understanding of God and help you play your part in God’s plan for your life and the lives of others.

Why Squares love Pais
It gives…
An opportunity to efficiently use their gifts.
A chance to support an organization that is teaching the world some new practices.
A placement in a stable work environment.
An experience to develop and practice new skills.

As a Square, I am very reliable and my team can always count on me. On Pais I learned that it is best to work as a team, and that everyone with his or her own talents is a part of it.

As a Square, I am able to use my gifts of organization and my eye for detail to help Pais England run smoothly. Being part of the Pais Project has helped me to understand my role in supporting leaders and being a part of the bigger picture.

‘LIFE-SHAPES’ – Just One Teaching Series On Pais

As part of a Pais apprenticeship you will also learn much more about your LIFE-SHAPE. You will discover what your special gifts are, and during the year learn how to develop them. You will be taught what stresses your ‘Shape’ out, how you probably react and how God can help you manage your weaknesses. You will learn about how you learn best. It is fascinating to notice how you see yourself and how others might see you. It may be at times a little scary, but importantly, you will be able to define yourself more clearly. This will help when communicating to others how you can best work with them, and how they can best work with you.

Learn about the Apprenticeships

LIFE-SHAPES is just one very small part of the things you will learn as you help spark the movement and make missionaries.
‘Life-Shapes’ was created by Pais Founder and Global Director, Paul Clayton Gibbs.
It is based on the following research: Validity & Reliability I, Reliability & Validity II, PATS, Interpersonal Communication for Md.Sch. Students.
