about us
Scotland is the most northerly part of the British Isles with a proud and long history. Christianity first came to Scotland as early as 563AD when the Irish missionary Saint Columba brought the gospel to the nation. Scotland is a place of stunning natural beauty with the incredible Lochs and breathtaking highlands. It’s also a land of warriors, poets and innovators and a place for spiritual seekers to visit places of tranquility like Iona.
Scotland is a nation of over 5 million people with over half the population claiming to be Christian. In recent years Church attendance has significantly dropped, with only 7% of the country regularly attending Church. Of those 7%, around 40% are over the age of 65. The challenges are clear, but so are the opportunities! We endeavour to be part of the answer to seeing God’s Kingdom advance and the gospel spread again in this nation. We believe young people will be at the heart of it!
